The show was judged by singers MG Sreekumar, Madhu Balakrishnan and music director M Jayachandran. Actors Bhavana and Mukesh were seen as the celebrity guests in the first-of-its-kind grand finale.

'Top Singer' was one of the longest-running reality shows on Malayalam TV. The show hosted by child actress Meenakshi showcased kids from different walks of life. Besides the impeccable singing performances, the kids were widely loved for their innocence and charm.

Due to the corona outbreak, the show, which was on a break, made a smashing comeback lately with some innovative changes. Following the COVID 19 directives, the kids were seen participating in the show via video conferencing in the recent episodes.

Top Singer is a Malayalam musical reality television show broadcasting on Flowers TV. It was created and directed by Sindhu Sridhar. The contest premiered on 1 October 2018.
