A few weeks ago I had an amazing opportunity to try out new CC creams, and Honeybronze drops from The Body Shop. I´ve been testing them out under my foundation, powder, and by themselves. Now it is a good time to give you my two cents.  Before I get into the review, I should say a few things about CC creams in general, in case the term is new to you. CC generally stands for “color correcting” and the products are meant to address issues like redness or sallowness. The coverage is light. You can wear them alone or under powder or foundation. Instaglow CC cream I received Instaglow CC creams in three different shades- Bright Glow (for light skin), Peachy Glow (for light to medium skin), and Warm Glow (for dark skin). The best thing about these creams is, they all have SPF 20 PA+++. That means you don’t have to apply any other products to get a sun protection. Bright Glow Bright Glow CC cream is meant for light skin. On the packaging it says reduces sallowness and brightens complexion. I wore it by itself, under powder, foundation, and under a combination of the two. It works well as a foundation primer. The formula is creamy and spreads easily. I used my fingers to apply the cream. I found it to be easier than using a beauty blender. When applying, it quickly absorbed into my skin. The finish was silky and matte, which I really liked. I also noticed how it slightly evened out a few redder spots. Of course they were still seen, but not so prominently. I can see myself using only this on days where I have to be out and about but I don’t want to wear makeup. It illuminates, reduces shine, and moisturises, so all bases are covered. Peachy Glow Peachy Glow CC cream is meant for light to medium skin. On the packaging it says counteracts dullness and awakens tired looking complexion. For me the cream has a bit too pinkish undertone to wear it alone. In spite of that, it worked well under my foundation. It gave my complexion a warmer glow which was perfect for those few sunshiny summer evenings. Warm Glow Warm Glow CC cream is meant for dark skin. On the packaging it says counteracts ashiness and warms up complexion. Since I have light skin, I can’t wear this product as a CC cream. I can use it as for contouring. For my light skin, the cream is pigmented enough to give my face a better definition as a contouring cream. With a little drop I could contour both of my cheeks. Another small drop covered my forehead and jawline. I can also see myself reaching for it toward the end of the summer, when I might be more tanned. Then, if I should use it under my foundation, it will help to even out the tone difference between my skin and other makeup. Here I used Peachy Glow under my foundation and Warm Glow as a contouring cream. Good:

Honeybronze Drops Of Sun On the bottle it says, it is a holiday glow creator, which is a perfect description of the product. It is a bronzing liquid gel with matte shimmer free finish.The application of the product is easy. It came with a little dropper which gave me full control over the amount I wanted to add. I used it mixed into my day cream. Since the product is really pigmented, I needed only one drop to get a healthy glow. The constant worry with bronzing products is, if they stain clothes or not. I didn’t notice any trouble. Where I applied the drops, they stayed there too. In the end of the day, I washed the glow off with a makeup remover and got back my pale white ghost face. You can also use the drops to make your foundation darker. It blends in easily into the foundation. That frees you from the worry of having to buy another shade of foundation only for the summer.
