2.2. The formation and development. The secondary school Nguyen Van Troi is located Duong Dan hamlet, Tam Dan commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province. The school is located in the administrative center of the District of Phu Ninh about 1.5 km to the Southwest. The school was established in 1997. The precursor was the Secondary School which was build in 1980. With more than 30 years’ teaching experiences, Nguyen Van Troi school has educated for hundreds generation of students.1.3 Organizational structure and management structure. The total number of officers, teachers, public employees are 42 members, (including 43 teachers, 2 managers and 5 staff) and 649 students. The Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer union has responsibility managing union member, training and holding activities.CHAPTER 2: Job description My job is a teacher in the secondary school. Teacher practice is not simple, but not too difficult as I thought. A teacher is often the first contact of the students. It is an expectation of most organizations that the teacher maintains a calm, courteous, professional and behavior. At all times, I am regardless of the student’s behavior. Therefore, I think that teacher is a very enjoyable and interesting job. The first, being a teacher may include making the acquaintance with students, find out the organization of school. The next, I am trained on skill teaching skill, I can have chance to learn experience from professional teachers. Moreover, with this job, I could contact with everybody better. Consequently, understand of fastidious students, I must be patient. I have to sympathize and listen to all requests from students. They are nice, courteous and polite so my job is favorable and safe. My mistakes were always been sympathized by them. In summary, this job requires neat appearance, good sense of humor and clear speaking voice. Especially, the teacher must patiently investigate, have specific knowledge and be able to communicate well. Maybe thể are reasons, why I have changed my thought and bad habits. Hence, I love this job, which gave me a patient virtue and professional working style. I spent 10 weeks training in the “secondary school Nguyen Van Troi”. I went to the school 3 days a week. Sometimes, I am took part in activities at school. - Office time: - In the morning: from 7h00 A.M to 11h15 A.M - In the afternoon: from 12h45 P.M to 17h00 P.M - My specific tasks: * Week 1: from January 25th, 2016 to January 31st 2016.

CHAPTER 3: The personal experience acquired through the training course. Through 10 weeks of training process at the Nguyen Van Troi secondary school, I got a lot valuable working experience and soft skill. In my opinion, these precious experiences will help me a lot for my work in future. The following are some of experiences, which I gained during this training course: Before teaching, I myself must studying a lots and consulting more documents on the fields of teaching. Knowing how to manage a class. I learned a lot of vocabulary, information, grammar… Moreover I must find out more about ability of students at countryside to know the best way when teach to them. Reading books about teaching method and learning more from other teacher. Preparing lessons more carefully to teach better. Learning more vocabularies to be more confident when using English to communicate. Especially, I learned some good characteristics such as attentiveness, initiative, loyalty, maturity and teamwork skills. In spite of short time of training process, the internship course at the school makes me feel more confident and patient than before. During nearly two months of my internship, I worked as well as a real teacher at Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School. To achieve this successful, I worked very hard and tried my best to complete my responsibility. After my practice time, I learnt many useful things not only for my future job but also for my life. To improve my English I will try my best to study hard not only for myself but also for my students in future. II. Lessons Learned After nearly two months at Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School, I gained many lessons for myself. The practical internship gave me opportunities to show me what life in the working world is really like such as: Before being a good teacher, I must study more to have a good English knowledge background. Knowing how to use English in teaching and choosing the suitable knowledge to teach for students. Assembling experiences of teachers to find out for myself the best teaching method. III. Suggestions * For Nguyen Van Troi Secondary school: Dividing students into two kinds of students. One is ethnic minority students and the other is kinds students. It is easier for teachers in teaching because they can make lesson plan suitable with each kind of students. Holding training class for the remedial students. Creating conditions for students to develop English skill through English contests. * For students who learning English You must study more especially grammar and pronunciation because when you pronounce wrongly, it means that your students will pronounce wrongly too. And when you have a good knowledge, you will be more confident in teaching. ` Reading English books or documents about vocabularies. |
