I am an avid racquetball player for decades. I have had Gel-Rockets many times and like their performance. The gum soles are great for wooden floors. Playing 3 times a week these shoes easily last a good year. I only replace them at this point because they look tired and I want to help the economy. Poor SupportGreat Support The cup around the heel and ankle of this shoe is very stiff (basically its hard plastic covered in foam) and is rubbing against my heel and the inside of my ankle. I tried a larger size and they were too big. The toe box is also barely adequate for my high arched foot and wide toe bed. I usually wear men's athletic shoes because they women's speciality shoes (such as court and pickle ball shoes) don't run in wides. Unfortunately I'm going to have to return these and just wear regular athletic shoes to play pickleball. I typically wear a size 9.5 Wide in women's but in Asics I have to go all the way up to a 9 M for them to be the same size in length as a woman's shoe.
