At the start of every year, Melbourne plays host to this famous tournament and draws visitors from all over the world, with most of the main notable matches held at the famous Rod Laver Arena. Trains are also a convenient option with Flinders Street, Jolimont and Richmond Stations all within easy walking distance. From Flinders Street walk past Federation Square via Birrarung Marr along the Yarra River and follow the signs. There is limited car parking available, so those choosing to drive should arrive early. How do you Get Tickets to the Australian Open in 2023?Tickets for the Aussie Open each year usually go on sale on the TicketMaster website sometime in December each year. The exact date for the release of tickets for the 2023 tournament has not been announced yet. I would recommend keeping an eye on the official Aussie Open website for details on when the tickets for the 2023 tournament will be available to the public. Each year, you can buy tickets to one of the main show courts (Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, and John Cain Arena (previously Melbourne Arena)) or you can choose to buy a Grounds Pass that will give you access to the smaller courts. Tips for First Visitors to the Australian OpenTry and stay in a hotel close to Melbourne Park – There are plenty of hotels near Melbourne Park as it will make your life much easier if your hotel is within walking distance of the park.
